TNT Network Logistics is designed to provide a tailored shared user logistics service for customers who do not require a fully dedicated fleet or staff.

TNT Network Logistics offer an innovative mix of dedicated resources supported by the TNT Newsfast shared user fleet. Cost effectiveness and resource utilisation continue to be key factors in the development of the TNT Network Logistics brand.

TNT Network Logistics is clearly focused on targeted markets including stationery, paper, packaging and book industries. Currently of its total business books account for 15% paper and packaging companies 36%, industrial 10% (for example the movement of adhesives and other consumable items to the printers from whom books and magazines are collected) and stationery 39%.

Examples of successful contracts include those in place with companies such as John Dickinson and Niceday.

For Niceday (part of the Guilbert group) TNT Network Logistics move stationery products overnight from the warehouse in Andover to four TNT Network Logistics operating sites. Supplies are then broken down into local delivery routes and distributed direct to end users using dedicated urban delivery vehicles.

In another example of tailored shared user solutions TNT Network Logistics provides a dedicated bespoke warehouse facility for John Dickinson stationers. Nationwide trunking and lateral delivery services are then provided from seven network depots to facilitate delivery to approximately 1200 end users.

The dedicated warehouse facility has the capacity to store 18000 pallets and pick in excess of 35000 cases daily. The physical operation is controlled and monitored using a purpose written IT solution including leading edge RDT technology linked to the customers premises.
